The following requirements in the City's Licensing Ordinance (Chapter 161) will be strictly follows:
1. All applications must be submitted on application forms provided by the City. All information requested on the form must be provided. Failure to provide adequate information may result in the application being returned to the applicant.
2. Applications from not for profit or charitable organizations shall be accompanied by written proof of their not for profit and/or charitable status, including their New Hampshire not for profit or charitable identification number.
3. Any application seeking an outdoor loud speaker, in addition to the original purpose of their application (parade, sale, etc.) shall obtain an additional LOUD SPEAKER LICENSE from the Licensing Board. An application is available at this same address.
4. If you are planning an event, raffle or other activity requiring a license, you should submit your application as soon as possible to the Licensing Clerk. Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis by the Licensing Board at their meetings held the first Wednesday of the month. Applications for a license must be received at least seven (7) days (excluding weekends and holidays) prior to the Licensing Board's monthly meeting in order to be placed on the agenda for review. Applications are reviewed by a variety of departments and, should the application be delivered late, thorough review by municipal departments may result in the License not being issued for the event.

** Beginning with MC Week 2007 there will be no discount for additional spaces in the same location. All licenses will be $450. Food vendors will pay an additional health inspection fee of $50 per space.
MOTORCYCLE WEEK VENDOR CHECKLIST/REGULATIONS
1. Motorcycle Week 2008 begins June 14, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. and ends June 22, 2008 at 12:01 a.m.
2. Vending is allowed only at locations that have been approved from the City. Secure a space from one of the approved property owners. Property owners must fill out a property owner permission form for each vendor stating what space they will occupy. If the Property owner sends this to you please forward it to the Licensing Clerk. Your application can't be approved without it.
3. Fill out the application for vending, and mail it along with the payment PAYABLE to the City of Laconia, 45 Beacon St East, Laconia, NH 03246.

FOOD VENDORS PLEASE ADD AN ADDITIONAL $50 PER SITE FOR A HEALTH INSPECTION FEE
6. Vendors intending to vend on more than one property shall be required to obtain licenses for each space located at EACH property.
LICENSE FEE: $450 FOR THE FIRST PROPERTY, $450 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL PROPERTY.
EXAMPLE: IF YOU HAVE A SPACE AT THE DRIVE - IN AND ONE AT THE WATERSLIDE, YOU PAY $450 + $450 = $900
7. SUBLETTING OF VENDING SPACE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
8. All vendors must read and comply with the safety regulations. All Food Vendors must comply with the State of NH regulations for food vending. These regulations will be attached to your applications and license. You will be inspected for compliance with these regulations.
9. Vendors utilizing flammable source of heat for food preparation or for any other purpose must obtain a permit from the Laconia Fire Department. (603) 524-6881.
10. Tattoo Vendors must submit an application; however, no license will be issued unless or until the tattoo vendor has been inspected and approved by the NH Dept of Health. You must obtain a Tattoo Practitioner license from the State. All STATE paperwork must be submitted no later than May 1, 2008. Please contact Connie at 603-271-0277 or Trisha at 603-271-0853 for the applications from the State of NH. No applications will be approved unless the practitioner’s license is provided.
11. During the SET-UP period the Vendor booths and merchandise should be shielded from the public.
