Special Collection Days
Residential Yard Waste Collection
Curbside yard waste collection is offered twice per year:

Residents on curbside collection routes are entitled to ten (10) bags of leaves/yard waste during each collection. Materials must be in paper compostable bags available in local stores. Please separate yard waste from your trash by at least three (3) feet in your driveway. Please note that the yard waste collection is accomplished by a separate truck from the trash collection. Collections will likely occur at different times of the day.
Annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection
Laconia's HHWC is held the first Saturday in August at the DPW Yard, 27 Bisson Avenue. Only for residents (not businesses). Watch newspapers for ads and flyers around town with specifics.
