FOR BEACH CONDITIONS / ADVISORY INFORMATION
SWIMMER'S ITCH (DUCK ITCH)
The City of Laconia Parks & Recreation Department understands that there is the possibility of Swimmers' Itch at any or all beach and bodies of water in the City. However, there are no tests available to confirm or deny this. The only way our department knows of the presence of Swimmers' Itch is when we receive calls from the public stating they have been diagnosed with "Duck Itch".
For more information, please click here for NH DES Fact Sheet on Swimmer Itch.
